Burger King is giving Cheetos fans something to celebrate, maybe.
These are Mac n' Cheetos — macaroni and cheese wrapped in Cheetos-flavored breading. It looks like the chain is trying to appeal to comfort food aficionados. Burger King told outlets Mac n' Cheetos are for anyone who's ever "wished they could eat warm mac n' cheese like they do a bag of chips."
This might sound a little indulgent, but food service strategy analysts told The Washington Post it makes sense: It's targeting millennials and Gen Z-ers looking for "experience-driven foods."
The outlet reported chains like Burger King and Taco Bell aim for a younger crowd, which might help explain a bent toward adventurous menu items.
The Cheetos-inspired fast food will be available Monday, but only at select stores.
