If you're planning to buy a home, you can bet that banks will want to see your credit score.

Credit score and that down payment are two significant pieces of information banks use to determine if they can trust you with a loan, says financial adviser Michael Guillemette.

We spoke to Guillemette about just how important a good credit score is for homebuyers and how you can increase that score.
