Conservative Pakistan is getting a wake-up call from a feminist on a motorcycle.
Guliafshan Tariq is a rights activist, computer engineer and athlete.
In her home country of Pakistan, that's a unique, barrier-breaking combination.
Her 22-day motorcycle ride in Pakistan aims to promote peace and women's empowerment.
"It is my self-initiative to promote this peace, women empowerment, women in sports and the message around the globe that Pakistan is a peaceful place and you can visit here," Tariq said.
Tariq also broke the record for bicycling to the world's highest border — which happens to be in Pakistan.
