North Korea has fired another missile — this one passing over Japan.
South Korea's military reports the missile passed over Japan's Hokkaido island and flew almost 1,700 miles.
North Korea has threatened to do this before. A Japanese flyover was part of the country's plan to strike the U.S. military outpost at Guam.
The launch comes on the final day of joint military exercises between the U.S. and Japan on Hokkaido. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told reporters he would do everything he could to protect the country.
