A U.S. B-52 bomber flew over South Korea in the face of escalated tensions with North Korea.
The move comes days after North Korea's state-run media reported the country successfully tested a hydrogen bomb for "self-defense," particularly against the U.S. and South Korea.
Experts are skeptical North Korea can make a hydrogen bomb small enough to be launched on a missile in order to attack other countries. (Video via BBC)
America's B-52's can fire nuclear weapons, however. The flyover was seen by many as a show of force toward North Korea and an act of solidarity with South Korea. The American plane was accompanied by South Korean fighter jets. (Video via U.S. Air Force)
