The bombing destroyed dozens of vehicles and injured more than 100 other people. Officials told The Guardian they suspect the bomb was left a car at a busy bus station.
Boko Haram is an Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group in Nigeria responsible for killing thousands of civilians. It's been especially active in recent weeks with attacks on schools and universities throughout the country.
The man in the video identified himself as Abubakar Shekau, leader of Boko Haram. According to CNN, he said the most recent bombing was retaliation for the Nigerian Government’s cooperation with the United States in killing Muslims.
The video did not address the 84 students still missing after they were kidnapped earlier this week. They are still thought to be held by Boko Haram forces.

The abductions come even as the Nigerian government saturates the region with military forces to counter Boko Haram’s activities.
