South African celebrity gossip site The Juice first began reporting the story as an exclusive Monday saying a man approached Pistorius Saturday in the VIP section of a nightclub.
A statement from Pistorius' spokesperson not only attempted to explain the altercation, but expressed regret he was out in the first place.
"The individual in question, according to our client, started to aggressively engage him on matters relating to the trial. An argument ensued during which our client asked to be left alone. Oscar left soon thereafter with his cousin. Our client regrets the decision to go into a public place and thereby inviting unwelcome attention." (Via The Juice)

KARYN MAUGHAN, ENCA REPORTER: "He claims Pistorius poked him on the chest and said, 'You'll never get the better of me. I will always get the better of you.' ... Mortimer has admitted that he then pushed Pistorius."

The trial is currently in recess after Pistorius' defense attorneys rested their case, but this latest scuffle prompted headlines, especially in hindsight of some unusual social media activity.
