Taking a firm stance with the U.K. and against Russia, the European Union recalled its ambassador to Moscow.
That likely comes as a relief to Prime Minister Theresa May, who's been trying to garner support from the U.S. and Europe and isolate Russia.
The president of the European Council said the EU agreed with the U.K.'s assessment that Russia was behind the nerve agent attack on a former spy and there was "no other plausible explanation" for the attack.
Individual European nations will likely recall their own ambassadors in the coming days.
