Greeks' Aid To Refugees May Give Them Bid For Nobel Peace Prize

Academics from several universities are calling for a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for residents of six Greek islands providing aid to refugees.

Academics from Oxford, Princeton, Harvard, Cornell and Copenhagen are working on a submission on behalf of the residents of six Greek islands. (Video via United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees)

At the same time, Greece was facing an unemployment rate of over 25 percent –– which is similar to the level of unemployment during the Great Depression in the U.S.
