British police now believe a nerve agent was used against a former Russian spy and his daughter after the two were found unconscious.
Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, were taken to a Salisbury hospital on Sunday and remain in critical condition. A police officer who first arrived at the scene is also in serious condition.
Skripal was a high-ranking Russian spy before he flipped and began selling information to the United Kingdom. He was tried and imprisoned in Russia, then freed in a 2010 prisoner exchange.
Russia has denied any involvement.
