You Could Be One Of The First To Stay Overnight In The Eiffel Tower

Four lucky people will win a stay in a temporary apartment in Paris' iconic landmark.

If you're heading to Paris, why stay near the Eiffel Tower when you can stay in it?

Vacation rental company HomeAway has a contest that will let four lucky winners do just that — stay overnight inside the iconic structure.

Winners can invite up to five guests and will be among the first people ever to stay in the tower in a first-floor temporary apartment.

The company's CEO told Mashable convincing the city of Paris was a "very, very long process." He also said he thought the Paris attacks had hurt tourism and this could change that.

The overnight stays are four days in June and July during the Union of European Football Association's 2016 European championship.

And while HomeAway says the Eiffel Tower apartment is temporary, its chief marketing officer said in a press release that more events are in the works this summer.

So ask yourself, "What would you do if the HomeAway Eiffel Tower Apartment was all yours for a night?" If your answer gets picked, get ready to make us all jealous. Winners will be announced June 10.
