Germany is set to have an official government again after almost six months of uncertainty.
The country's Social Democratic Party voted in favor of a grand coalition with Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Union. Merkel will stay in office for her fourth term as chancellor.
The coalition comes after the inconclusive federal election back in September led to months of negotiations between party leaders in an attempt to work out an agreement.
The new government is expected to be put in place in coming weeks.
