Syrian forces have launched new ground and air offensives in Ghouta, Syria, despite a unanimous U.N. Security Council vote yesterday calling for a 30-day cease-fire.
The U.N. resolution called for a cease-fire to begin "without delay" but didn't give an actual time frame for the truce following the Russian ambassador's objections.
Now, forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad are reportedly attempting to "storm" rebel positions.
The attacks on areas in Eastern Ghouta have reportedly killed more than 500 civilians since last Sunday.
