As the graphic details of Reeva Steenkamp's death were read out, Oscar Pistorius began puking in court Monday.
The pathologist who did the post-mortem on Steenkamp testified, describing the bullets to Steenkamp's head, hip and arm. (Via SABC)
A ITV reporter tweeted: "Pistorius retching loudly, possibly vomiting, as graphic postmortem details are delivered."
The judge ordered the live broadcasting be cut and reporters keep from tweeting while the graphic evidence was read. (Via Euronews)
Also Monday, security guard Pieter Baba testified he was responding to reports of gunshots coming from the athlete's home in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year. Around 3 a.m., he says he called Pistorius who initially told him everything was okay. Baba says Pistorius phoned him back moments later crying. (Via NTDTV , Sky News )
DEFENSE: “What Mr. Pistorius had said to you when you spoke to him?”
BABA: “He said security, everything is fine.” (Via Channel 4)
Pistorius' defense team is trying to discredit that testimony — saying it was Pistorius who called the guard first, not the other way around.
Pistorius has admitted to killing his model girlfriend, but says he mistook her for a burglar when he fired four shots at the locked bathroom door of his home. The prosecution argues he killed Steenkamp in cold blood. (Via CBS)
Several neighbors have already testified they heard gunshots and a woman screaming the night Steenkamp died. The defense argues that was actually the sound of Pistorius realizing he'd made a tragic mistake.(Via ABC)

The trial is scheduled to last three weeks but with more than 100 witnesses expected to testify it will likely last much longer. (Via ENCA)
The double-amputee Olympian has pleaded not guilty to all four charges against him. If found guilty of the premeditated murder charge, he'd face at least 25 years in prison.
