If you thought Hillary Clinton's loss in the presidential election would be the end of her email scandal, you apparently thought wrong.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz says he's still not done investigating whether Clinton's mishandling of classified information qualifies as a crime.

Clinton was already cleared of criminal negligence by FBI Director James Comey. His surprise announcement about emails found on Clinton aide Huma Abedin's computer turned out to be nothing.

The House Oversight Committee's highest-ranking Democrat, Elijah Cummings, has pushed back against the investigation given that the FBI's own probe came up empty.

He said, "I think the American people deserve more from Congress than to continue squandering taxpayer dollars on these baseless Republican accusations and partisan attacks."

But Chaffetz said he isn't out to get Clinton. He believes that the Trump administration will be more cooperative with an investigation and that could turn up previously unseen emails.
