It takes a small army of people to run the administrative side of the White House. And now we know how much they make.

On Friday, the Trump administration published its 2017 report detailing salaries of those working in the White House Office. Every administration since 1995 has been required to submit such a report to Congress annually.

Twenty-two staff members make the top level of pay, which is $179,700. Those people include Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Chief Strategist and Counselor Stephen Bannon, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, press secretary Sean Spicer and Senior Policy Adviser Stephen Miller.

Director of Strategic Communications Hope Hicks, Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison Omarosa Manigault and Director of Social Media Dan Scavino are also part of that tier.

Sixteen members of President Obama's team made the top level of pay, according to its 2016 report.

Principal deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is taking home $165,000. Another public-facing member of the administration strategist Sebastian Gorka makes $155,000. And first lady Melania Trump's Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham makes $115,000.

Obama's 2016 report listed 472 members of the staff. Trump's lists 377.

Surprisingly, two of Trump's top advisers — Director of the National Economic Council Gary Cohn and Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives Christopher Liddell — are getting paid the lowest amount for those who are collecting a salary. They're each making $30,000, $10,000 below the next salary tier.

That likely has something to do with the fact that they're both multimillionaires.

As previously announced, Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump, who is an adviser, are forgoing salaries

Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental and Technology Initiatives Reed Cordish is also not collecting a salary.
