Days after former news anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit accusing Fox News CEO and Chairman Roger Ailes of sexual harassment and retaliation, several other women have come forward with similar claims.
According to New York Magazine, more than a dozen women have contacted Carlson's lawyer with detailed allegations of sexual assault — some that date back to the 1960s.
The magazine spoke to six of those women, and like Carlson, many claim Ailes offered job opportunities in exchange for sexual favors.
One told the outlet, "[Ailes] said, 'You know, if you want to play with the big boys, you have to lay with the big boys.'"
Another said, "I recall very clearly, he said he'd put me on the show, but I needed to go to bed with him."

Ailes has denied all allegations. In response to the article, his lawyer released a statement that reads: "It has become obvious that Ms. Carlson and her lawyer are desperately attempting to litigate this in the press because they have no legal case to argue. The latest allegations, all 30 to 50 years old, are false."
21st Century Fox — the company that owns Fox News — has launched an internal review into Ailes' behavior.
Meanwhile, Ailes' lawyers have filed a motion for Carlson's lawsuit to be arbitrated confidentially in federal court — something her lawyers seem ready to fight.
