After several weeks of rumors about an Oprah Winfrey presidential campaign, the woman herself is setting the record straight.
The former talk show host told InStyle, "It's not something that interests me. I don't have the DNA for it."
Rumors about Winfrey potentially launching a 2020 bid started after her acceptance speech at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards.
And her longtime partner Stedman Graham told the Los Angeles Times that Winfrey "would absolutely" run for office if the people wanted her to.
But Winfrey's disinterest in becoming president shouldn't be too surprising. Last year, she told Stephen Colbert she will "never run" for political office.
