President Donald Trump denied accusations that he used a vulgar word to describe some nations.

The questionable comments were allegedly made during a conversation about immigration. Reports claim Trump said, "Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?"

In a tweet, Trump said his words were "tough" but that he didn't use that specific language.

The president was meeting with lawmakers to discuss a bipartisan immigration deal. The senators said that deal addressed border security, the visa lottery program, chain migration and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA.

Trump called the deal "outlandish." He said their plan would not properly fund his border wall and claimed the visa lottery program and chain migration would be worse.
