North Korea has destroyed what it says is its nuclear test site.

A crew from CNN and other international journalists were invited to witness Thursday's demolition. The outlet reports no weapons inspectors or nonproliferation experts were invited to watch.

According to CNN, at least three nuclear tunnels, observation buildings, a metal foundry and living quarters were destroyed.

The move came not long before U.S. President Donald Trump canceled his highly anticipated meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, which was expected to take place in Singapore next month.
