North Korea Reopens Key Communication Line With South Korea
South Korea's Ministry of Unification confirmed North Korean leader Kim Jong-un gave the order for the line to be reopened Wednesday.

North Korea may have accidentally hit one of its own cities with a ballistic missile last year.
According to a report from The Diplomat, an intermediate-range ballistic missile launched in late April crashed in the city of Tokchon after about one minute of powered flight.
The outlet looked at satellite photos from before and after the launch and says they show evidence of the crash. The Diplomat says the missile caused "considerable damage to a complex of industrial or agricultural buildings" but couldn't confirm if there were any casualties.
The failed missile launch was widely reported when it happened. But outlets didn't have details on where it landed.
Things on the Korean Peninsula have been seemingly quiet lately. Pyongyang's latest weapons test took place in late November, when it launched a ballistic missile it claimed is capable of "striking the whole" U.S. mainland.
But military officials told NBC that North Korea may be preparing to test another missile in the coming days.
